This is my second attempt making Bananas in Pyjamas Themed Cake. I actually have decided not to receive any cake orders until end of the year. Since mum is here & hubby is having holiday, I feel so bored not doing anything.
This cake is ordered by a Japanese lady for 30th Dec 2011. The cake is a 2-layered Japanese Cheese Cake with Vanilla Swiss Meringue Buttercream.
There is a silly story behind this cake. It was to be picked up on Friday, 30th Dec, before 8am. I thought it was Saturday morning. At this stage my brain didn’t work properly as I had to nurse my 5-week old baby. When the lady came to pick up, I was still sleeping.
Thank God the party was for 3pm. So I quickly decorated the cake. Now I learn one lesson: Check the date & the DAY !!
