The cake is a Chocolate Mudcake covered with Chocolate Ganache that feeds 30.

The original colour of the pillow is purplish blue. It doesn’t really show the true colour in the picture due to the lustre & lighting.

I’m kinda fussy with the pillow details. I end up with the diamond stitches, anyway, with pink cachous.

And for the tassels, I use flower button

I’m pretty happy with the finishing.

The design is adapted from one of the pictures in Google. I just change the basic colour to hot pink. The real colour is actually quite different from the picture. It is the lighting

I love the bikkies. So cute.

Anyway, it was a-day course, from 9 am to 4 pm. We started a little bit late & ended up at 5 pm plus.

It was a good class. She was also a very humble & down-to-earth cake decorator.

I learnt mostly on how to make fingers,toes, facial expressions.

You notice that the baby on the top & the 3 babies’ face are not smooth enough. This was due to last minute work. I couldn’t finish them as my hubby already waited for me in the parking space with 2 kids (one of them being a 10-week-old bub). I ended up rushing

This is a 3-layered 8″ Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Swiss Meringue Buttercream.

This time I accept an order of a 3D Hello Kitty. It is a challenge for me, since this cake requires some technical skills.

The cake stands about 10″ tall & it feeds 40.

It took me 3 days from baking time to decoration. Inside is Marble Cake with Vanilla Swiss Meringue Buttercream coated with Chocolate Ganache.

It is really a challenge to make this cake. Her head is bigger than the body, so I have to make sure that the head is secured & stable.

I am pretty pleased with the final result. I perspired when decorating this (especially the head ). It really looks Hello Kitty.

Like how the flowers turn out at the end. They look quite plain formerly. Some glitter touch makes so much difference.

And this cake is just for a ONE year old girl! How lucky!

Most of these cupcakes probably are quite common, since Chinese New Year theme is all about hongbao,firecrackers,lantern,cherry blossom & stuffs like that.

These cupcakes have 2 flavours:

* Chocolate Cupcakes with Vanilla Rum Swiss Meringue Buttercream filling

* Orange Cupcakes with Orange Swiss Meringue Buttercream

They are dominated with red, yellow, white & gold colours. Anyway, here are the closer look:

The cake itself is a Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Swiss Meringue Buttercream.

I put some “real” books next to the cakes. Can you see the difference?

Instead of showing The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo cover, she wants different title for the birthday girl.

This is the base novel. It’s a shame that another novel has to be stacked on top of it.

Inside are Chocolate Cupcakes with Chocolate Buttercream filling & Vanilla Cupcakes with Vanilla Swiss Meringue Buttercream filling.

Inside this cake is 3-layered Mandarin Cake with Vanilla Swiss Meringue Buttercream & shredded cheese between each layer.

The mother wants Iggle Piggle to be the main topper.
